Volunteer

If you don't want to race but would still like to be involved, we would LOVE to have you volunteer! This event runs on volunteers--I am not making money as race director either, and am donating all proceeds beyond the cost of producing the event. Please fill out this survey with what roles you are interested in. Role descriptions are below. We can tailor some of them as needed to fit your availability and skills.

Volunteer Roles

• Set-up and check-in: Arrive at 6:30 to set up start/finish and turnaround aid stations, sign in participants, leave when the race starts or stick around if you want!

• Race support: A combination of timing and aid station tasks. Sometimes offering athletes snacks/water/turnaround tokens, sometimes tracking participants' times using an app we will provide.

• Tear-down: Arrive at 11:00 to help with timing wrap-up, then dismantle and pack up aid stations at race finish (12:30 or earlier).

• Medic: Please only select this option if you have current certification in first aid and CPR or you are a medical professional, and you are comfortable bringing and riding a bike. You may be dispatched by bike for injuries on the course. 

• Photography: Take beautiful pictures and share them with us!

• Medal Assembly: Trace logos onto turnaround tokens, finisher medals, and awards. Assemble components (ribbons, rings, medals). We will do this sometime in June that is convenient for the people who sign up--we'll coordinate via email.
